இப்பொழுதெல்லாம், ஒரு திரைப்படம் ரிலீசாகி, இரண்டு மூன்று வெள்ளிகள் தாண்டுவதே அரிதான விஷயமாகிவிட்டது. (உதாரணங்களை சொல்லனுமா என்ன? நமக்கு ஏன் வம்பு!).

அப்படிப்பட்ட ஒரு சூழ்நிலையில் அக்டோபர் 1 உலகம் முழுதும் அதிகபட்ச ரெக்கார்ட் எண்ணிக்கையிலான தியேட்டர்களில் ரிலீசாகி பல தியேட்டர்களில் வெற்றிகரமாக ஓடி, இன்றும் பேபி ஆல்பட் திரையரங்கில் பகல் காட்சி ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது.
இன்றைக்கு தினகரன் நாளிதழில் வெளியான விளம்பரத்தை இங்கு தந்திருக்கிறேன். இந்திய திரை சரித்திரத்திலேயே மிகப் பெரிய வெற்றி பெற்ற ஒரு படத்துக்கு 150 வது நாள் விளம்பரத்தை முற்றிலும் இது போல புதிய ஸ்டில்லுடன் இதை விட சிறப்பாக யாரும் வெளியிட முடியுமா என்ன? கடந்த நவம்பர் மாதம் வெளியான FILMFARE இதழில் எந்திரன் படத்தின் விமர்சனமும், படத்தை பற்றிய FILMFARE இதழின் எடிட்டர் ஜிதேஷ் பிள்ளையின் ஒரு அருமையான கட்டுரையும் (கடைசி பக்க தலையங்கம்) இடம்பெற்றிருந்தது.
நடிகன் என்ற அந்தஸ்த்திலிருந்து சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் என்ற பிரம்மாண்டத்திற்கு உயர்ந்த அந்த நிகழ்வை ஆசிரியர் மிக அழகாக காண்பித்திருக்கிறார். அதில் சில வரிகளை கவனியுங்கள். சிலரின் அவதாரங்களை சேதாரம் ஆக்கியிருக்கிறார்.

நண்பர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் எனது வணக்கம். மீண்டும் உங்களை ‘onlysuperstar.com’ தளத்தினூடே சந்திப்பதில் மிக்க மகிழ்ச்சி.
சற்று நாட்களுக்கு முன்பு சுந்தர்ஜி அவர்கள் என்னிடத்தில் ஒரு பத்திரிக்கை கட்டுரையை கொடுத்தார். அது, ‘மாத்ருபூமி’ என்னும் கேரள நாட்டின் மிக பெரிய பத்திரிக்கையின் வாரப் பதிப்பு. அது வெளிவந்துள்ள நாள் 24 October 2010. அதை எழுதியவர் திரு. பாலசந்திர மேனன். மலையாள திரை உலகின் மிக சிறந்த படைப்பாளிகளில் ஒருவர். அவர் பெறாத விருதுகளே இல்லை எனலாம்.

நான் இப்பொழுது எழுதுவது ஒரு அனுபவக் குறிப்பு. ஏனக்கோ, இதில் நான் எழுதும் நபருக்கோ எந்த விதமான வியாபார உறவும் தற்பொழுது இல்லை.  என் நினைவில் நிற்கும் சில கடந்தகால நிகழ்சிகள் தான் என்னை இக்கட்டுரையை எழுத தூண்டியது. அந்த நினைவில் உள்ள நிகழ்சிகளின் மூலமாக என்னை பிரமிப்பில் ஆழ்த்தும் விதியின் வலிமையை நான் கண்முன்னே காண்கிறேன். நயம் மிகுந்த அந்த கதையின் காட்சிகளை என்னோடு சேர்ந்து கண்டுகளிக்க இக் கட்டுரையின் வாசிப்பாளர்களை அழைக்கிறேன். இக் கதையின் கதாநாயகன் இன்று உலகெங்கும் உள்ள மக்களின் உள்ளம் கவர்ந்த சுப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினிகாந்த் தான்.

அமெரிக்கா, ஜப்பான், சிங்கப்பூர், மலேசியா போன்ற நாடுகளில் கண்களை பயமுறுத்தும் ரஜினிகாந்தின் வின்னைத்தொடும் கட் அவுட்டுகள் இந்தியாவின் பெருமையின் இலக்கணமாக காட்சியளிக்கின்றன. மலையாள சினிமாவின் வரலாற்றில், திருவனந்தபுரம் நகரில் ஒரே நேரத்தில் 5 திரையரங்குகளில் ஒடும் முதல் திரைப்படம் என்ற பெருமையயும் இந்த ஏந்திரன் திரைப்படம் பெற்றுள்ளது. இந்த எந்திரனின் மந்திரத்தை முதல் நாள் அன்றே தரிசிக்க 1000 ருபாய் கொடுத்து பிளாக்கில் டிக்கெட் எடுக்க சென்னையில் இளைஞர்கள் கூட்டம் அலைமோதும் அதே சமயம், அமெரிக்காவில் ஒரு டிக்கெட் 40 டாலர் என்னும் விலையில் விற்றுத்தீருகின்றனவாம்.

பல வருடங்களுக்கு முன்பு நான் பழகிய ஒரு மனிதர் இந்திய சினிமா என்னும் குண்டுசட்டியையும் தாண்டி புகழ்பெருவதைக்கண்டு என் மனம் மகிழ்சியில் பூரிப்படைகிறது. தன்னொடு முன்னொரு நாள் தனிமையில் பயனித்த ஒரு மனிதர் பகவான் யேசுநாதர் என்று தெரிந்தால் சாதாரண ஒரு கிறுஸ்து பக்தன் எவ்வளவு மகிழ்ச்சியடைவானோ, நான் அந்த அளவு மகிழ்கிறேன்.
இன்றிலிருந்து எறத்தாழ முப்பது ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் இந்த நபரை எனக்கு அறிமுகப்படுத்தியவர் மறைந்த நடிகர் ஸ்ரீநாத் ஆவார். ஸ்ரீநாத்தை தவிர (மலையாள நடிகர்கள்) கைலாஷ்நாத், ஆடம், அயுப், ஸ்ரீனிவாசன், ஜேம்ஸ் முதலியவர்களும் சென்னையின் சினிமாக் கல்லூரியின் மாணவர்கள் ஆயிருந்தனர். என்னை அவருக்கு அறிமுகப்படுத்தியபோது, ரஜினி என்னிடம் வந்து “சார், நான் ஃபிலிம் இன்ஸ்டிடுடில் நடிப்புக் கலை படிக்கிறேன்.” என்று கூறினார். பிறகு, ஒரு சிகரெட்டை எடுத்து அனாயாசமாக வானத்தில் போட்டு உதட்டில் பிடித்து, ஒரு வெற்றிப் பார்வையுடன் என்னைப் பார்க்கிறார். அப்பொழுது தான் நான் அவரை கவனிக்கிறேன். கருப்பு நிறம், பரட்டைத் தலை, நீல பேண்ட், சிகப்புச் சட்டை, கையில் வெள்ளிக் காப்பு, அதிகமாக புகைப்பிடிப்பதின் விளைவாக பிளந்து இருந்த உதடுகள், கரை பிடித்த பல்லுகள் என்று இருந்தார். இதை எல்லாம் விட அவர் அடிக்கடி ஒரு வெற்றி முழக்கமிட்டார், அது தான் அவரது கனீர் சிரிப்பு, ஹா ஹா ஹா ஹா….
மொத்தத்தில் உன்மையை கூற வேண்டுமானால் அவரை எனக்கு அப்பொழுது பிடிக்கவில்லை. கர்நாடகாவில் பஸ் கண்டக்டராக இருந்து, சினிமா ஜுரத்தில் அகப்பட்டு கோடம்பாக்கம் வந்து வாழ்க்கை தேட வந்த இந்த இளைஞருக்கு பிழைக்க வேறு வழியே கிடைக்கவில்லையா என்று என் மனதில் தோன்றியது. இவர் வெற்றி பெருவது கடினம் என்று நினைத்தேன். சிவாஜி ராவ் என்னும் ரஜினிகாந்த் என்னுடைய அனுமானங்களை எல்லாம் உடைத்து எறிந்து, என் மன என்னங்களை பொய்யாக்கி மிகப் பெரும் பிம்பமாக இந்த ப்ரபஞ்சத்தில் வளர்ச்சி அடைந்த வரலாற்றின் மேல் நின்று தான் நான் இதை இன்று தெரிவிக்கின்றேன்.

ஒரு பத்திரிக்கையாளனாக என்னுடைய சம்பளம் அப்பொழுது மிகவும் குறைவு தான். ஆயினும் ஞாயிறு தோறும் ‘வூட்லாண்ட்ஸ்’ ஹோட்டலின் ‘டிரைவ் இன்’ ரெஸ்டாரண்ட்டில் நாங்கள் கூடுவது வழக்கம். அங்கு எப்பொழுதும் ஒரு சினிமாக்கூட்டம் சுத்திக்கொண்டே இருக்கும். சினிமா எடுத்து புகழ் பெற விரும்பும் தயாரிப்பாளர்கள், படம் எடுத்து போண்டியானவர்கள், வாய்ப்பு தேடும் நடிகர் நடிகைகள், அழகிய இளம் பெண்கள், படப்பிடிப்பிற்காக வீடு வாடகைக்கு விடுபவர்கள் என அனைத்து தரப்பினரும் அங்கு நல்ல நண்பர்களாக உலா வருவோம்.
ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் சிவாஜி ராவை அங்கு கானும் போதும் ஹலோ என்றும், குட் மார்னிங் என்றும் கூறி ஒரு நல்ல நட்பை வளர்த்துக்கொண்டோம். ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் சிவாஜி ராவ் என்னும் அந்த நபர் கலர் கலராக கலக்கலான உடைகளில் வலம் வந்து ஒரு மாறுவேடப் போட்டியைக் கானும் ஆவலைத் தருவார். மேலும் ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் சிகரட்டை தூக்கிப் போட்டு வாயில் பிடித்து வழக்கம் போல அட்டகாசமாக சிரிப்பார், ஹ ஹா ஹா ஹா..!
அன்று மசாலா தோசை சாப்பிட வந்தவர், காக்கி அரைக்கால் சட்டை போட்ட சர்வர் சிறுவன் ஆவென வாயைப் பிளந்து பார்க்க, கட கடவென டீயைக் குடித்தார். அந்த சாதாரன சிவாஜி ராவ் இன்று பார் போற்றும் ரஜினிகாந்த்தாக வருவார் என்று யாரேனும் என்னி இருப்பார்களா?

பரபரப்பான அந்த உணவு விடுதியில் ஒரு மூலையில் அமர்ந்து இருக்கும் பத்திரிக்கையாளனாகிய பாலசந்திர மேனனை நோக்கி வேகமாக கையில் ஒரு கவருடன் வருகிறார் ரஜினிகாந்த். வழக்கம்போல கலக்கலான உடை, அதற்க்கும் மேல் அதிகப்படியாக ஒரு கருப்புக் கண்ணாடி. கவரை பாலசந்திர மேனனை நோக்கி நீட்டிய படியே சிவாஜி ராவ் கூறுகிறார் “வணக்கம் சார். நீங்க ஒரு மலையாளப் பத்திரிக்கையின் நிருபர் என்று என் நண்பர்கள் கூறினார்கள். நீங்கள் நினைத்தால் இந்த கவரில் உள்ள என்னுடைய படம் கேரளாவில் உள்ள பத்திரிக்கையில் வரும். நான் மலையாளப் படங்களில் நடிக்க விரும்புகிறேன்” என்றார். மிக்க மகிழ்சியுடன் அந்த கவரைப் பெற்றுக் கொள்கிறார் பாலசந்திர மேனன், “என்னால் முடிந்ததை செய்கிறேன் என்று உறுதி கூறுகிறார்.

ஆனால் அன்று என்னால் எதுவும் செய்ய இயலவில்லை. நான் கவரைப் பெற்றுக் கொண்ட அன்றே அதை ஆசிரியருக்கு அனுப்பி வைத்தேன். ஆனால் அந்தப் படம் வெளியிடப்படாமல் களையப்பட்டது. ஓரு ஆசிரியருக்கும் நிருபருக்குமான உறவு என்பது மாமியார் மருமகள் உறவைப்போல ஆகும். நாங்கள் கொடுப்பதை முழுமையாக நிராகரிப்பதும், அல்லது சரியான நேரத்திற்க்குள் வெளியிடாமல் இருப்பதும், தலையும் இன்றி வாலும் இன்றி ஆட்டினை பன்றியாக மாற்றிப் வெளியிடுவதும் பத்திரிக்கை ஆசிரியர்களின் வழக்கம். இன்று வரும், நாளை வரும் என்று நிருபர் இருமாப்புடன் நடக்க, அது வெளிவரவில்லை எனில், அந்த செய்தி கொடுத்தவரைக் கானும் பொழுது ஒடி ஒளிய வேண்டிய கட்டாயமும் ஒரு நிருபரின் தலைஎழுத்தாகும்.  ரஜினியின் படம் வெளிவராததால் அவரிடம் கவர் வாங்கிய எனது நிலைமையும் அது தான்.

ஏ வி எம் ஸ்டுடியோவில் அங்கும் இங்குமாக அலைந்து கொண்டு இருக்கும் பத்திரிக்கையாளன் பாலசந்திர மேனன், திடீர் என்று ஒரு மாடியில் நடக்கும் பட பிடிப்பில் ஒரு மரத்தடியில் நான்கைந்து ஆண்களைப் போலீஸ் வேஷத்தில் காண்கிறார். அதில் ஒருவர் சிவாஜி ராவ்.
சிவாஜி ராவ், நேராக பத்திரிக்கையாளனை நோக்கி நடக்கிறார். அவரிடம் வந்தவுடன்,
சிவாஜி ராவ்: “வனக்கம் சார். அதுக்கு அப்புறம் ஆளயேக் காணோம், பத்திரிக்கையில் படத்தையும் காணோம்… ஹ ஹா ஹா ஹா…”
பத்திரிக்கையாளன்: “அன்று மாலையே அனுப்பி விட்டேன். சீக்கரம் வந்து விடும்”
சிவாஜி ராவ்: “அது பரவாயில்லை சார். அது வரம்போ வரட்டும் சார்.. வர்றது வராம இருக்காது. பாத்தீங்களா, நேத்தைக்கு வாய்ப்பு தேடிய நாங்க எல்லாம், இன்னைக்கு படத்தின் ஒரத்தில் இடத்தை மறைக்கும் நடிகர்களாக நடிக்கிறோம். இன்று வெறும் காண்ஸ்டபிள், நாளை ஏட்டு, நாளை மறுநாள் சப் இன்ஸ்பெக்டர்… அப்படி.. அப்படி. அப்படியே…. ஹ ஹா ஹா ஹா…”
அந்த சிரிப்பில் தெரிந்தது அவரின் மிகப் பெரிய தன்னம்பிக்கை.

பிறகு சிறிது நாட்கள் நான் அவரைப் பார்க்கவில்லை. ஒரு நாள் மறைந்த நடிகை ஸ்ரீவித்யாவிடம் இருந்து ஒரு அழைப்பு வந்தது. பாலசந்தர் அவர்களின் இயக்கத்தில் நான் நடிக்கும் புதிய திரைப்படத்தின் படபிடிப்பு அடையாரில் உள்ள சத்யா ஸ்டுடியோவில் நாளை நடக்கிறது, நேரம் இருக்குமேயானால் நீங்கள் வந்தால் நல்லது பாலாஜி என்று அழைப்பு விட்டார். ஸ்ரீவித்யா அவர்கள் மரணம் வரையிலும் என்னை பாலாஜி என்று தான் அழைத்தார். நான் அப் படப்பிடிப்பிற்கு சென்றேன்.

லைட்கள் மற்றும் காமெராவின் முன் கமலஹாசன் மலர்ச்சியான முகத்தோடு நிற்கிறார். டைரெக்டர் கே பாலசந்தர் ‘கட்’ என்று சொன்னதும், அங்கே இருக்கும் போட்டோகிராப்பர்கள் கமலை படம் எடுத்து தள்ளுகிறார்கள், பூவை மொய்க்கும் வண்டுகளைப்போல்.
அவர்களிடம் இருந்து சற்று தூரத்தில் ஒரு நாற்காலியில் சிவாஜி ராவ். வழக்கமான கலர் சட்டைகள் இல்லை, கருப்புக் கண்ணாடி இல்லை, சிரிது வளர்ந்த தாடி, வாயில் சின்ன பீடி என அந்த திரைப்படத்தின் கதாபாத்திரம் அணியும் கலைந்த உடுப்புடன் அமைதியே உருவாக எந்த நட்சத்திர பந்தாவும் இல்லாமல் காட்சி அளிக்கிறார் சிவாஜி ராவ். தூரத்தில் கமலஹாசனை போட்டோகிராப்பர்கள் இப்போதும் மொய்த்துக்கொண்டு இருக்கிறார்கள். அழகான கூரிய கண்களையும், நாணத்தால் சினுங்கும் உதடுகளையும் தனதாய் உடைய ஸ்ரீ வித்யா வேகமாக வந்து நின்ற காரில் இருந்து கதவுகளை திறந்து வெளியே வர, அமர்ந்து இருந்த சிவாஜி ராவ், எழுந்து வணங்குகிறார். இது நடந்ததும் டைரெக்டர் கே பாலசந்தர் எதோ ஒரு திசையில் இருந்து ‘கட்’ என்று குரல் கொடுக்கிறார்.

என்னைப் பார்ததும் சிவாஜி பரபரப்பானார். “வேண்டாம், வேண்டாம்.. அந்த போட்டோவை நினைத்து, என்னைப் பார்த்ததும் நீங்கள் மறைய வேண்டாம். அது வரும் பொழுது வரட்டும். நாம் சிறிது நேரம் பேசிக்கொண்டு இருக்கலாம்” என்று கூறினார். அவருக்குள் எங்கேயோ ஒரு தன்னம்பிக்கை மற்றும் அமைதியின் குரல் கேட்டது.
‘அபூர்வ ராகங்கள்’ என்னும் பாலசந்தர் திரைப்படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு தான் அது. அதில் ஸ்ரீ வித்யாவின் கணவராக ஒரு சின்ன வேடத்தில் நடிக்கிறார் சிவாஜி ராவ். ஆனால் ஒரு பெரிய ஹீரோவின் மூடில் இருந்தார் அவர்.
“சின்னது ஆனாலும் நல்ல வேஷம் சார். பாலசந்தர் சார் எனக்கு புதிய பேரும் தந்துள்ளார். ரஜினிகாந்த் என்பது தான் அது. இன்று முதல் நான் சிவாஜி ராவ் அல்ல, ரஜினிகாந்த், தாங்களும் இனி அவ்வாறே அழைக்க வேண்டும்.” என்று கூறினார்.
பாலசந்திர மேனன் “வேடம் சிரியது ஆனதினாலா போட்டோகிராப்பர்கள் உங்களை கண்டுகொள்ளவில்லை?” என்று கேட்க,
ரஜினிகாந்த் “சிரியது தானே சார் பெரியது ஆகிறது, அந்த பெரியது தானே சார் வளர்ந்து பிரம்மாண்டமாகிறது… ஹா ஹா ஹா ஹா……” என்று சிரித்தார்.
மீண்டும் அந்த பதிலில் அவரின் அமைதியும், தன்னம்பிக்கையும் தெரிந்தது. அவரிடத்தில் ஒரு தெய்வாம்சமும் தெரிந்தது. பிற்காலத்தில் அவர் ஸ்ரீ ராகவேந்திர ஸ்வாமிகளின் சீடரானார் என்ற செய்தி கேட்டவுடன், இந்த நிகழ்ச்சிதான் என் நினைவுக்கு வந்தது.
அன்றைய சந்திப்பு முடிந்து நான் திரும்பியது ஸ்ரீ வித்யாவினுடைய காரில். அப்பொழுது என் மனதில் யாரும் கவனிக்காமல் தனித்து உட்காந்துகொண்டு இருந்த ரஜினியின் முகம் நிழலாடியது. ஸ்ரீ வித்யாவிடம் நான் “அனைவரும் கமலின் பின்னால் மொய்த்துக்கொண்டு புதுமுகமான ரஜினியைத் தனியாக கவனிக்காமல் இருப்பது சரியாகுமா” என்றேன். அதற்கு அவர், “அதெல்லாம் ஒன்றும் இல்லை பாலாஜி, பார்துக்கொண்டே இருங்கள், நாளைய சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினிதான்” என்றார்.
ரஜினியின் பெயருடன் ‘சூப்பர் ஸ்டார்’ என்னும் பட்டத்தை நான் முதன் முதலாக கேட்டது ஸ்ரீ வித்யாவிடம் இருந்துதான்.
ஸ்ரீ வித்யாவின் அந்த பொன்னான வாக்கியம் பலித்தது. ரஜினி ஸ்டார் ஆனார், சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ஆனார், மெகா ஸ்டார் ஆனார், தற்பொழுது எந்திரன் என்னும் திரைப்படத்தின் மூலம் இண்டெர்நேஷனல் ஸ்டார் ஆகிவிட்டார்.
தன்னுடைய பேரின் மூலம் மட்டுமே, தனது தயாரிப்பாளர்களுக்கு பொன்னோடு, சொர்கத்தினையும் பரிசளிக்க வல்ல இந்த மா மனிதன், சொட்டை தலையோடும் நரைத்த முடியோடும் வெளியே வரும் தைரியம் படைத்தவன். சாதாரன மனிதர்களின் ஒரே சூப்பர் ஸ்டார்.

கடந்த கால நண்பர்களை இன்னும் அன்பொழுக நட்பு பாராட்டும், இறைவனின் பாதங்களில் தன்னை சமர்ப்பித்து அதன் மூலம் தான் யார் என்று அரிய முயலும், மராட்டியரான பஸ் கண்டக்டர் சிவாஜி ராவ் என்னும் ரஜினிகாந்த்,  ஒருமுறை என்னிடம் கூறிய வார்தைகளை உபயோகித்து நான் அவரை வர்ணிக்க வேண்டுமானால் ‘காமிராவுக்கு முன் ஹீரோ, காமிராவிற்க்குப் பின் (கடவுளின் முன்னால்) ஸீரோ’
ஒருமுறை நான் சிவாஜி ராவிடம் விளையாட்டாக “நீங்கள் மலையாளத்தில் நடிக்க விரும்புகிறீர்களே, அங்கு ப்ரேம்நசீர், மது என்னும் மிகப் பெரிய போர்க்குதிரைகள் களத்தில் உள்ள போது சிவாஜி ராவ் ஜெயிக்க முடியுமா?” என்று கேட்டேன். அதற்கு ரஜினி “நானும் ஒடுவேன், எனக்குத் தெரியும் நான் ஒரு நொண்டிக்குதிரை என்று. நொண்டிக் குதிரைகள் போர்க்குதிரைகளுடன் போட்டி போட்டு ஜெயிப்பது மிகவும் கடினம் தான், தோற்பது சகஜம் தான். ஆனால், ஒருவேளை ஜெயித்து விட மாட்டோமா என்று தான் நான் நினைக்கிறேன்….” என்றார்.

அந்த சிவாஜி ராவ் என்னும் நொண்டிக் குதிரை, அனைத்து போர்க்குதிரைகளையும் பின்னுக்குத் தள்ளி, இன்று தமிழகம் தாண்டி, இந்தியா கடந்து, பரந்து விரிந்த இந்த உலகமெங்கும், எந்திரன் என்னும் திரைப்படத்தின் மூலமாக, மிக சக்திவாய்ந்த ராஜ கம்பீர குதிரையாக வெற்றிக்களிப்பில் ஒடிக்கொண்டு இருக்கிறது. சினிமா என்பது மக்களை ஆளும் ஒரு ரஜ்ஜியம் என்றால், ரஜினிகாந்த் இந்திய மக்களை அன்றே தன்வசப்படுத்திவிட்டவராவார். மேலும் தனது சினிமாக்கள் என்னும் ராஜ தந்திரத்தின் மூலம் பிற நாட்டவர்களையும் தம் ஆளுகையில் கொண்டுவரும் பேரரசராக விளங்குகிறார்.
எந்திரன் நல்ல படமோ, கெட்ட படமோ, கமர்சியல் படமோ, ஆர்ட் படமோ, ஸயின்ஸ் ஃபிக்ஷனோ, எதுவானாலும் இந்த படத்தின் மூலமும், தனது பிற படங்களின் மூலமாகவும தீமையை நன்மை என்றும் வெல்லும் என்னும் உலக நீதியை மக்களுக்கு பறைசாற்றுகிறார். ரசிகர்களாகிய நம்மை எல்லாம் ஆனந்தக்கடலில் ஆழ்த்துகிறார், நம் மனதில் நன்மையை நிலைநாட்டுகிறார். நாம் அவரை கைதட்டி, உற்சாகப் படுத்தி, அமர்களமாக வரவேற்போமாக!

Endhiran in Global Film Festival!

“Enthiran/The Robot,” a Hollywood-Indian collaboration that is the biggest-budget film in the history of Indian film-making – and also the highest-grossing – will make its southern United States debut at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17, opening night of the fourth annual William & Mary Global Film Festival.
The festival runs through Sunday, Feb. 20. This year’s theme combines three of the highest-profile trends in film and pop culture today: the environmentalist movement, comic book super heroes, and vampires.
The occasion also marks the inaugural awarding of the “W&M Global Film Can” awards. This year’s recipients are Japanese director Nobuhiko Obayashi and his daughter, screenwriter Chigumi Obayashi; French director Yann Arthus Bertrand; and Indian director Shankar, director of “The Robot,” and named 2010 Indian of the Year in Entertainment by CNN IBN.

Attending “The Robot” at the Kimball Theatre, located at Merchant’s Square in Colonial Williamsburg, will be the film’s Hollywood executive producer, Jack Rajasekar, president of Virginia Beach company Fusion Edge Media, its costume designer, Hollywood’s renowned Mary Vogt (“Men in Black,” “Batman Returns”), supervisor of animatronics Alan Scott (“Terminator 2,” “Terminator 3,” “Pearl Harbor,” “Jurassic Park III), special makeup and effects coordinator Vance Hartwell (“Lord of the Rings” trilogy, “War of the Worlds”), the film’s cinematographer Randy Rathnavelu, and special-effects supervisor Sreenivasan.
Other international luminaries attending are Obayashi and daughter Chigumi; Sundance award-winning documentarist Judith Helfand; and internationally acclaimed storyteller Clay McLeod Chapman.
Rajasekar says he had the "honor" of working with superstar Rajinikanth, who stars as Dr. Vasi and the robot; Vogt, who created the film's costume design; and animatronics by Legacy Effects (“Iron Man,” “Avatar”).
India’s most revered film director, Shankar, directed.
The budget -- $41.6 million (U.S.) – is the equivalent of 1,900,000,000 Rupees. Rajasekar and Fusion Edge Media are already planning sequels to “The Robot.”
“It is the greatest assemblage of talent ever to work on a Kollywood film,” Rajasekar said from his office in Virginia Beach. “The enthusiasm and passion with which everyone thrust themselves into this project proved something to me that, frankly, I already knew: Hollywood and the Indian cinema community have embarked on a cooperative course the result of which will be a ‘Golden Age’ of cinema unlike any ever before witnessed. ‘The Robot’ is just the start.”

The story centers on a genius scientist Dr. Vasi (Rajinikanth) who makes a genius robot (called Chiti), but tests the limits of technology by infusing him with human emotions. The more Chiti begins to feel and think, the more uncontrollable he becomes, eventually falling in love with Dr. Vasi’s fiancé (played by Aishwarya Rai). When Dr. Vasi attempts to destroy his creation, Chiti mobilizes an unstoppable army of machines, terrorizing India.

Rajini makes Sonu Sood happy

The career graph of Sonu Sood is on a never before high. The hot and happening villain of Tollywood and Bollywood will cross swords with Superstar Rajinikanth in ‘Rana’, which has the top actor in three different roles.

“Rajini sir is a legend. I am extremely thrilled about working with him. Yes, he will beat me up in Rana,” says Sonu. Buzz is that Sonu was handpicked for the role by none other than the Superstar himself.

Meanwhile, sources in the know have it that K S Ravikumar, the director of ‘Rana’, is working fast gear to give finishing touches to the script. “In all probability, Rana will go on floors by the second week of March,” they say.

Produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Ocher Studios and Eros International, ‘Rana’ is touted to be a period film, which will feature the Superstar as an emperor and two other roles.

Rekha Opposite Rajini in Rana?

After Deepika Padukone, Rajinikanth is keen to get another Bollywood actress Rekha in his historical film Rana. Recently there was buzz that Madhuri Dixit was offered the film which she declined. If latest rumours are to be believed, the makers have approached Rekha to be paired opposite Rajinikanth in the film.

The project is getting bigger everyday as K.S. Ravikumar doesn’t want to leave any stones unturned. Having endowed with such a big offer, the filmmaker is hoping to strike with the best spell now. Produced by Orcher Studios in collaboration with Eros International, the film will be made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

With Rajnikanth playing three different roles, it has been a never-ending search for the best actresses in town. Deepika Padukone was the first one to be zeroed and later discussions were held with Asin pertaining to this project while Sneha is also reported to join the bandwagon now.

Madhuri Dixit, the yesteryear dream girl of Bollywood, declined an offer from Rajini's Raana recently. Reason? According to her latest tweet, she didn't like to ply as Rajini's sister in this Historical movie.

I don’t take advice from Rajini: Dhanush

Dhanush has evolved as a complete actor over the years and now he is one of the favourites of directors who thing original. Happy after the success of his critically acclaimed 'Aadukalam', Dhanush is all out to promote his next film 'Seedan' which is releasing on this Friday.

At the press meet yesterday to promote 'Seedan', Dhanush was seen with his entire family of father Kasthuri Raja, mother Viajayalakshmi, wife Aishwarya and brother Selvaraghavan. The host was fielded with many questions on Dhanush and his profession.

When Aishwarya Dhansh was asked how much supportive she is for Dhanush, she said “More than being supportive I am more concerned about not being his obstructive in his progress. I have understood how difficult being an actor is and I make it a point not to disturb him on his shooting times.”

Latha Rajinikanth said "Dhanush is more a son than a son-in-law to us. He is a complete actor and we feel proud whenever we talk about him."

One of the question fielded at Dhanush was "Does your father in law Rajinikanth advices you at times?" Dhanush handled the question with flair and said "He doesn’t advise me and also he never gives any acting tips. But Kamal sir sometimes makes 'comments' and I have always found them honest".

Of course Latha Rajinikanth has already said that they like whatever Dhanush does and are proud of whatever he does. Cool!

Madhuri says no to Rajnikanth

This season everyone in Bollywood fell prey to the charms of the 44-year-old Madhuri Dixit who flew in from the US to judge a dance reality show on television.

Besides the Khans, Kapoors and Kumars who poured praises in Mads' honour, the other man who was reportedly enamoured with her is the Tamil megastar Rajnikanth. Madhuri and Rajni have done Uttar Dakshin in 1987.

TOI announced just a few days ago that when Rajni came calling to Mumbai for one night he did attempt to meet a few Bollywood stars.

A distributor says, "Besides casting Deepika Padukone and Sonu Sood from Mumbai, Rajni Sir was also keen to have Madhuri Dixit in Rana. However she turned down the offer. She excused herself saying that she was missing her sons Arin and Raayan too much and wanted to fly back to the United States." Rana as everyone knows has Rajni in a triple role. Madhuri naturally would be cast opposite one of the older characters that Rajni is playing; whereas the 25-year-old Deepika will romance the younger character.

Malaysia Vasudevan Passas Away

Popular playback singer Malaysia Vasudevan (70) passed away today at his residence, Chennai. Tamil film industry expressed its deep condolence for the death of the veteran singer.

Sneha In Rana?

The latest buzz in the tinsel town is, smil queen Sneha has been approached for the third heroine role in Rajini's forthcoming magnum opus Raana. Directed by K S Ravikumar, the producers already booked Deepika Padukone for main heroine role.

Rajini to speak in Hindi!

Good news is that Rajini’s Raana unlike his previous films will not be dubbed into Hindi and Telugu but instead will be shot simultaneously in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. The bigger surprise here comes as Rajini has accepted to dub his own voice in the Hindi version of the film too. It is notable that Rajini has dubbed only in Tamil has refused to dub when his movies are dubbed in to other languages and so different voices have been used.

Rajinikanth who is well versed in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and English has acted in many Hindi films before. His last Hindi film that came 20 years ago was Bulanthi and he had dubbed his own voice in that film. Ever since, Rajini’s popularity in Bollywood soared as many of his hit Tamil films were dubbed to Hindi. Looks like Rajini is giving his 100% to Raana and we just cannot wait for it!

Rajini, the superstar of Indian Cinema is planning to camp in London for 3 months and attended the shooting of the same. This is his idea of avoiding unnecessary political noises around him during the assembly election in May.

A special show for Rajini and KSR

Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s production Thoonga Nagaram is being appreciated by one and all. Director Gaurav, who has made his debut with this film, says that a special screening of Thoonga Nagaram is being arranged for KS Ravi Kumar and Rajinikanth. Gaurav says that Thoonganagaram is being appreciated by many in the film fraternity including RK Selvamani, cameraman RD Rajasekar, Vetrimaaran and KV Anand and this had enthused KS Ravi Kumar to watch the film.

When the ace director mentioned it to Gaurav, the director immediately arranged for a special screening and Rajini also graciously agreed to attend the show.

Here’s more info about Rajinikanth’s Rana! In this flick, the Superstar gets to play three different roles and Deepika Padukone will play the love-interest for the young Rajini, reveals a source. The other two roles are being kept a top secret for now and are expected to be released in the days to come.

Further, it has been reported by a certain section of the media that forty percent of the Rana shooting will take place in London and ball has been set rolling for completing all the formalities for the cast and crew to take off to London very soon.

Asin in Rajini's 'Rana'

The actress Asin going to join Superstar Rajinikanth's next flick 'Rana'. Asin will be play the second heroin role in the film. Asin will pair up with Rajini in one of the role.

Source says that the director K.S Ravikumar have earlier approached Trisha, Anushka and Asin for the lead role as Deepika Padukone was not able to adjust her dates. But later Deepkia has adjusted her dates for being part of this project.

The director K.S Ravikumar is directing the periodic film in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Superstar will be seen in three different roles in the film. Sonu Sood is playing the role of antagonist.

The film will start rolling from the March month.

“I Am Always Thankful to God”, Says Super Star Rajnikanth

Rajnikanth was awarded the Entertainer of the Decade award by the NDTV network. Every year the NDTV has been giving awards to various people in different fields. The highest award has been given to Rajnikanth for being the best entertainer in India for the last 10 years. NDTV chief Dr Prannoy Roy and Union Home Minister P Chidambaram gave away this prestigious award to Rajnikanth.

Prannoy Roy while speaking on this occasion said,” It is the most unforgettable experience for me to give this award to Rajnikanth. There is no one who has heaped success like Rajnikanth. It is not possible or even imagine to touch his success.”

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan while speaking about Rajnikanth said,” He has brought pride to India. He is the best actor in the world. Nobody can never touch his success.”

Actress Katrina Kaif while speaking said,” I am very proud that I am standing in the stage where Rajni is standing.”

Actress Vidhya Balan while speaking said,” My mother was keep on asking me whether it is real that I am also getting an award at the time Rajni is getting his award. Rajni is a rare person. He is the real superstar. He is our pride.”

Trisha who has also got the NDTV award for the best South Indian actress said,” I have not seen such a big artist like Rajnikanth in the whole world. I am really proud that I am an actress during his era.”

Rajni while speaking said,” The reason for me getting this award goes to my producers and directors. I am an instrument only. I am thankful to the God who guides and directs me.”

It is also pertinent to note that Rajni was awarded the best entertainer award in the year 2007 by NDTV.

Rajini gets his villain!

Rajinikanth has zeroed in on his villain in Rana! It is none other than Sonu Sood, who played the powerful baddie in Arundathi. His role in Chandramukhi has Oomaiyan was well-appreciated and he has several Hindi and Telugu films to his credit.

According to sources, Sonu’s role in Rana will be very important and meaty. Director KS Ravi Kumar decided on Sonu Sood as he felt only he could do full justice to the role and the Superstar immediately agreed to it, we hear.

Rana is said to be partly set in the historical era and the film is to be produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth.

Rajinikanth Family Arrest Issue Silenced

In what transpired as an incident with its own suspense and thrills, the Rajinikanth family made a miraculous escape following a bounce of the cheque issued by them which was then complained against by those involved.

However, the climax to this issue is satisfactory with no casualties in terms of the arrest not happening and when the media was demanded to silence itself. Following this, one of the most eminent persons of the society called up the media and requested to bury the news under the wraps.

Last week’s reports made enough buzz which surrounded Soundarya Rajinikanth and Latha Rajinikanth. It is a mere cheque bounce case from which they could be easily bailed out. They had to pay the financier a sum of Rs. 20 lakhs but they did not turn up at the high court after they both were served several notices.

Although both the advocates had decided to settle the matter out of court and immediately an eminent personality had requested the media to mute the issue. Hence, the issue was not carried out by many leading magazines and newspapers.

Silambarasan, Trisha and Enthiran Win Awards

Edison Awards has been following it as a ritual of felicitating the best ones based on various categories. Superstar Rajnikanth starrer ‘Enthiran’ won ‘Best Film’ Award while Silambarasan fetched ‘Best Actor’ and Trisha as ‘Best Actress Award’ for their spellbinding performance in ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’.

It was a special honor for actor Jayaprakash as he won his first award of recognition for ‘Best Supporting Actor’ for his naturalistic performance in ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’. The same movie earned reputation for 4 newcomers as ‘Best Villain Award’ for their overpowering acting, The Best new face award was fetched by Amala Paul followed by Best Director Award for ‘Madharasapattinam’.

Venkat Prabhu’s ‘GOA’ won the ‘Best Romantic Picture’ and Sargunam as ‘Best Debutant Director Award’ for his entertaining movie ‘Kalavani’. Best Commercial Award was given to director Hari for ‘Singam’.

Apart from the awards, the occasion was studded with more musical and dance bonanzas.

Goutham Vasudev Menon wants to Direct Kamal & Rajini

Ace director Gautham Vasudev Menon who has several hits to his credits has a great desire. In a recent interview, he said that he would love to make a film with ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth and ‘Ulaganayagan’ Kamal Hassan together. It is notable that Gautham Menon made Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu with Kamal Hassan in the lead and the movie went on to become a hit. It is also well known that the two stalwarts Rajini and Kamal have done close to 20 films together during the beginning of their careers- Moondru Mudichu, Avargal, Ninaithale Inikkum, to name a few.
Gautham Menon is currently busy with promoting his latest, Nadunisi Naaygal, which is to release this weekend; it is said to be a psychological thriller inspired by a real life character who was a patient to a psychiatrist he knows. Known for bringing freshness and for making each of his film different from the others, will Gautham Menon manage to bring the two stars together for a movie? Malaysia Vasudevan who had rendered his voice for superstar Rajnikanth in many of his films with a lively zing in an extraordinary manner is currently indisposed and is undergoing treatment in a city hospital. The song ‘Vetri Kodi Kattu’ in Malaysia Vasudevan’s voice in Padayappa took the film to a higher level. It may also be noted that his daughter Prashanthini’s ‘ayyayyo’ number from Aadukalam with SP Balasubramanian and SPB Charan is already on its way to become a chartbuster. Rajni in Mumbai for one Night

While the biggest Bollywood stars make announcements even about their inconsequential travel plans, Tamil superstar Rajnikant made a quiet entry into Mumbai over the weekend.
His publicist (that’s a joke, legends don’t have PRs) didn’t call the photographers to the airport to click him on his arrival, as apna Bollywood always make sure to do.
Instead, Rajni came with wife, Lata and recently-married daughter Soundarya and checked into a suburban five-star hotel.
He then headed for a Juhu hotspot to celebrate the 25th wedding anniversary of his friends Dr Murli Manohar and his wife Sujata. This couple who has made films like the Aishwarya Rai Bachchan film Jeans, are based in Chennai, but have strong links in Bollywood too.
It is rumoured that Dr Murli Manohar will also have a stake in Rana, the film in which the legend has a triple role.
Our source says, “Rajni sir combined business with pleasure. He finalised the rest of the cast for this K S Ravikumar project that will mount the floors in April 2011. Deepika Padukone has been signed to play the female lead opposite the youngest Rajni. Apparently, this is the only romantic track in Rana.”
Also, sources confirm that the Dabangg villain Sonu Sood will play the baddie. The interesting bit here is that Sonu will have a role that is almost parallel to that of the main Rana.
One leading distributor who was also present at this private party says, “In Robot, we had two Rajnikants. In Rana, there are three of him, hence the excitement is also tripled.”
There is talk that there may be a couple of other Bollywood character actors who may make it to the final cast in some capacity. What Rajni wants, Rajni gets.

அங்கிருந்து நேராக ஜோஹுவுக்கு சென்றார். அங்கு அவரது நண்பர் டாக்டர். முரளி மனோகர் மற்றும் அவரது மனைவி சுஜாதாவின் 25  வது திருமண நாள் கொண்டாட்டத்தில் கலந்துகொண்டார். ஐஸ்வர்யா ராய் நடித்த ஜீன்ஸ் உள்ளிட்ட பல படங்களை தயாரித்த இந்த தமிழர்கள், பாலிவுட்டுக்கு மிகவும் நெருக்கமானவர்கள்.
ராணாவில் டாக்டர் முரளி மனோஹரும் ஒரு தயாரிப்பாளர் என்று கூறப்படுகிறது.
நமக்கு கிடைத்த தகவல்கள் கூறுவது என்னவென்றால், “ரஜினி சார், தனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்த வகையில் இந்த படத் தயாரிப்பு அமையுமாறு பார்த்துகொள்கிறார். ஏப்ரல் மாதம் துவங்கவிருக்கும் இப்படத்தில் நடிக்க தீபிகா ஒப்புக்கொண்டுள்ளார். படத்தில் மூன்று வேடங்களில் தோன்றும் ரஜினியில், இளம் ரஜினியை இவர் ரொமான்ஸ் செய்கிறார். சொல்லப்  போனால் படத்தில் உள்ள ஒரே ரொமாண்டிக் டிராக் இவர்களுடையது தான்.

Deepika adjusts for Rajini’s Rana

The production team of Rana is set on having Deepika Padukone as Rajinikanth’s lead pair in Rana, sources say. The actress is also eager to be a part of this film more so because it stars one of the most bankable actors in the country. In fact the lady is said to be adjusting her dates so that she is available for the shooting.
Rana will be produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth and Rajini’s favorite director KS Ravi Kumar is to direct the film. The movie is said to be set partly in the historical era and this has increased the interest of the movie buffs.

Asin in ‘Rana’?

It has become a ritual for names of all top actresses to do rounds as the heroine of Rajinikanth whenever the Superstar announces a new film. Now that an official announcement is made on ‘Rana’, a fresh guessing game is on.

With Deepika Padukone already in the list, it is now said that Asin has been offered one of the heroine characters as she is in the good books of director K S Ravikumar, thanks to ‘Dasavatharam’ and ‘Varalaru’.

“Moreover, both Deepika and Asin are popular in the north too. As Rajini is a pan-Asin player now, it is felt that both would add value to the multicrore project, which has the Superstar in three roles,” sources say.

After carving a niche for herself in south Indian languages, Asin entered Bollywood with ‘Ghajini’, the Aamir Khan starrer. She is at present acting in a decent number of Hindi films, besides making a re-entry in Tamil with ‘Kavalan’.

Rajinikanth reading Shikara Soorya

Superstar Rajinikanth is a passionate reader, who loves to read books even during his busy shooting schedules. He likes Kannada, Tamil and English books. Now, we hear that the actor is reading a Kannada novel written by Dr Chandrasekhara Kambara.


Rajinikanth, who was in Bengaluru recently to watch Upendra's Super, was gifted Dr Chandrasekhara Kambara's Shikara Soorya by actor Ashok. Reports say that after reading a few pages, the superstar thanked him for giving such a wonderful book.


The actor has reportedly said that every page in the novel is interesting and engaging. However, he is gearing up for his next movie Rana, which is directed by KS Ravi Kumar.

Super Star Rajini starrer, Shankar's Enthiran won an award in best film category in a colourful annual Edison Film awards, held in Chennai on Saturday evening.

Naseeruddin Shah to wow as Rajinikanth

Veteran Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah is going to imitate the Superstar Rajinikanth in the forthcoming Vidya Balan starrer ‘The Dirty Picture’, which is on the life story of the ever popular sexy siren Silk Smitha.

According to sources, Shah’s character will be modelled on Rajinikanth wearing flamboyant clothes and sport different wigs. However Naseer resisted in wearing a paunch and asked the director Milan Luthria to kill the idea by educating him “We have so many South Indian matinee idols who do not have a paunch".

Surprisingly Naseer claims that till date he has not watched any of Rajini’s movies. And so the director is planning to send him a film which stars Rajnikanth and Silk Smitha. Naseer is now looking forward to play the Superstar and hopes to do his role perfectly.

But the only thing we want to know is that, what has Rajinikanth has to do in the life of Silk Smitha. Why has Milan Luthria created a role modelled on the super star? We generally know most of the Bollywood filmmakers have scant idea of south Indian film industry and its stars. They are even mostly biased and less informed.

Rana Rajini Movie is Dasavatharam part-2

Superstar Rajini’s Rana has created a buzz in the recent times that he is playing three roles in the film.

Sources say that these three roles are drawn from the inspiration of Kamal's Dasavatharam.

During the making of Dasavatharam director KS Ravikumar and Kamal Hassan has come up with 13 characters and out of them Kamal choosed only 10 characters that are well-matched for him.

Now director KS Ravikumar who is directing Rana is in plans to make use of the rest of the three roles.

Arrest warrant for Latha and Soundarya Rajini

Latha Rajinikanth and Soundarya were served with an arrest warrant by the Saidapet Magistrate Court in Chennai following a cheque bounce case. They had obtained a loan amounting to 20 lakhs from Sumarchand Bafna and issued a cheque when he demanded the dues.
But the cheque bounced following inadequate amount in their account and Bafna immediately filed a petition last morning (February 9, 2011) seeking their arrest. When this was brought to the notice of Latha and Soundarya, they immediately paid the dues through a Demand Draft and the case was revoked by the complainant.

Rajini discusses Endhiran 2

The climax of Endhiran was such that fans left the theatres in anticipation that Shankar, Rajini and Kalanidhi Maran will come together for a sequel. Looks like this might take shape, if not now, but in the near future.
According to sources, Rajinikanth and Kalanidhi Maran met recently to discuss the worldwide collections of Endhiran and during this meet Rajini had enquired Kalanidhi about the possibility of the sequel.
With the Superstar showing keen interest in the sequel, Kalanidhi’s interest in the project went several notches up, we hear.
We know that Shankar is busy directing Nanban, a multi-starrer, and Rajini will soon don the greasepaint for the KS Ravi Kumar directed Rana. Therefore, there is a speculation that Endhiran 2 may take off only after Shankar and Rajini are free from their respective commitments.
Meanwhile, Sun Pictures is also contemplating on financing the epic film that director Mani Ratnam is planning to direct.
Though an official announcement on Endhiran 2 may take several months from now, if it is done, then it is certainly going to be a big day for Tamil cinema!

Dhoom 3 disappoints Rajinikanth fans!

Rajinikanth fans, who have been dreaming to see the superstar on Dhoom 3, are disappointed that the actor is not chosen for the key role. Their dreams are shattered after Yash Raj Films roped in Aamir Khan for the villain role.

Post-Endhiran success, their were speculations that the Dhoom makers are considering Rajinikanth for an important role in the film. It claimed that the superstar's superhero role in the sci-fi film had impressed them and they had approached the actor.

Later, the production house clarified that they have utmost respect to Rajini but they were yet to finalize the cast, which made the fans of the actor to wait with bated breath for an official announcement from Yash Raj Films.

Now, as they have zeroed in Aamir Khan for one of the lead roles, it has left his hardcore fans with frowny face.

Rajini’s daughter not allowed to write exams

Rajinikanth’s eldest daughter and Dhanush’s wife Aishwarya was not allowed to take up her exam at a law college in Puthur. Aishwarya has enrolled for first year BL degree course and was at the college to write her exam recently.
But the lady could not write her exams as people thronged the college gates and students were also eager to catch a glimpse of her. Aishwarya approached the Principal requesting him to permit her to write the exam in a separate room which was declined. Following this, Aishwarya had to return home without writing the exams.
However, the lady made necessary arrangements for the subsequent exams by appointing personal bodyguards and wrote the exam peacefully, sources say.

Soundarya Rajinikanth had a strange experience

Soundarya Rajnikanth- Ashwin, the younger daughter of superstar had a strange experience on Sunday when she had gone to write her law exam at Puthur in AP. Soundarya is studying for her Degree in Law from KKC College in Puthur and she was to take her First year Law examination from January 30.

When she went to the examination centre, the Govt. College in Puthur, she was mobbed by the fans of the Super Star to meet their thalaivar’s daughter. She managed the crazy fans outside and entered her exam hall only to see even more curious onlookers staring at her from outside the examination hall. Even the fellow students were more interested to look at her than writing their own papers.

Soundarya then requested the principal of the college to allot her a separate room, as it is done in case of VVIPs taking exams.  But the authority refused the request despite Soundarya quoting precedence.

Finally to avoid more embarrassments, Soundarya left the hall and drove straight to Tirupathi without writing the exam.

Shankar hints about Enthiran Sequel

Is Shankar willing to make a sequel for Rajini starrer blockbuster Enthiran - The Robot? Sources say that the director already in the mood of creating a sequel for Enthiran with the same team. Shankar also hinted the same in his blog recently. According to reliable sources, Shankar may be started the script work for Robot 2 after the completion of his current project Nanban!
